Experience & Motivation
Owner, Lee Raymond, has a passion for helping people—meeting them where they are and showing them where they could be. She opened Studio22 Pilates in 2019 to bring her knowledge of Pilates, her passion for helping people, and her Mission to the community of The Woodlands and surrounding areas. Lee received her comprehensive Pilates certification through PhysicalMind Institute and brought over 15 years of experience to the studio. She has taught in various settings with clients ranging in age and ability. She spent many years training under her mentor and friend, John T. Gossett, in his Studio, Pilates Concepts of Houston, which honed her abilities and passions that she centers Studio 22 around today.

But Pilates is also a therapeutic movement-based, full-body workout promoting functional fitness and rehabilitation. This type of training is essential for long-term movement and health. Suitable for all ages and skill levels, Pilates builds strength, flexibility, coordination, mental focus, and fluid movement. Pilates is low-impact resistance training that require either body weight or tension from spring-loaded apparatus while focusing on core strength and stabilization.
